Impact Stream
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 13, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Impact Stream. By creating an account, joining a community, submitting content, voting, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Impact Stream provides software for community-led project proposals, voting, funding coordination, project execution, receipt transparency, updates, notifications, and related governance workflows. Impact Stream is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, custodian, exchange, or wallet provider. Any financial, blockchain, or payment workflows are provided only as operational tools for approved programs.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms, community rules, law, security requirements, or program eligibility requirements.
3. Community rules and acceptable use
- Do not submit false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, hateful, exploitative, illegal, or infringing content.
- Do not manipulate votes, impersonate others, create unauthorized accounts, bypass access controls, or interfere with service operation.
- Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the service at abusive rates, or misuse APIs.
- Do not use Impact Stream to fund, promote, or coordinate illegal activity, violence, sanctions violations, bribery, money laundering, or misuse of charitable resources.
4. User content
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant Impact Stream a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, translate, moderate, analyze, and share that content as needed to operate the service, support community governance, comply with law, and provide transparency for funded projects. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you submit.
5. Voting, funding, and project execution
Community voting and funding workflows may be subject to program rules, eligibility checks, administrator review, budget availability, legal restrictions, and anti-fraud controls. A proposal, vote, approval, dashboard status, or displayed funding amount does not guarantee funding, payment, loan approval, grant approval, or project acceptance. Project owners must use funds only for approved purposes and may be required to provide receipts, updates, evidence, signatures, and repayment information.
6. Blockchain and wallet activity
Some activity may involve public blockchain networks and embedded wallets provided by third-party infrastructure. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, public, delayed, or unavailable. You are responsible for reviewing any transaction request before approving it. Impact Stream is not responsible for network outages, wallet provider issues, transaction fees, third-party infrastructure, or blockchain records outside our control.
7. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content or accounts when we believe it is necessary to operate the service, enforce these Terms, protect users or communities, investigate abuse, comply with law, or preserve audit integrity. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Privacy and account deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. You can delete your account in the mobile app from Profile > Delete account or visit Account Deletion. Some records may be retained where legally required or needed for audit integrity, public blockchain integrity, security, fraud prevention, financial accountability, or dispute resolution.
9. Disclaimers
Impact Stream is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that project outcomes, funding decisions, community votes, data, translations, notifications, or blockchain transactions will be accurate, complete, or available at all times.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impact Stream and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, project losses, blockchain network issues, or unauthorized access arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Impact Stream after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
